All personnell was really friendly and helpful. The Junior Suite was spacious, very clean and left nothing to wish for with an excellent view. Room service excellent as well, fast, great quality and priced adequately.

The location is absolutely stunning with beautiful lake and mountain views. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of options. Most importantly, the staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Margherita, who was exceptional and provided outstanding service throughout our stay.

5-stjernershotellet Splendide Royal ble bygget i 1887, og er med sin århundreskifte-stil Luganos mest fasjonable hotell. Det ligger i hovedgaten i Lugano, rett ved innsjøen. What impressed me the most was the eye for detail. For example: a nice case for the tv remote, a leather stool for your purse at dinner, giant curtains that open and close air tight with adjustable ropes that are super easy to manage… we got upgraded to one of the big rooms with a balcony right on the lake. The staff are beyond friendly and I love the old fashioned, palace-style decor.

Located directly on the shore of Lake Maggiore, a private bathing beach, the jetty with its own marina and garden, guest rooms and suites. What is there to not like about this hotel. So beautiful, staff is great, the spa was amazing. Ascona was for us a wonderful unexpected gem.
