Set 50 metres from the charming Bay of Alghero, Carlos V Hotel features a sea-view rooftop restaurant and outdoor pool. All rooms have a balcony, and WiFi plus parking are both free. The staff were very helpful and efficient. The outdoor patio is delightful. One night there was live music and it was lovely to sit by the pool and have a drink while listening. The location is excellent (right across from the ocean and easy walking distance to town). The breakfast buffet had a great variety of delicious offerings.

Grand Hotel Cannigione offers accommodation with a restaurant, free private parking, a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and a fitness centre. The staff was very helpful by giving several suggestions of beaches to visit or restaurants to go to, and they offered assistance to book them for us, which was really great. The hotel amenities were great, the pool is really good, and the spa was fantastic. The breakfast was good with great variety. They have a shuttle that transport us to their beach which is 6 min away.
