We had a great stay at Shoraiso for our honeymoon in December. Service is unparalleled and the staff are doing above and beyond to make us feel like home without being intrusive. We love the elephant decor of the room and the beautifully landscaped garden, and the private onsen is definitely the highlight of our trip. Breakfast and dinner are included and the food is just exceptional (very tasty with fresh local ingredient and creative presentation). The location is quite convenient - 45min train from Nagano to Yudanaka station and hotel is just a few min drive away (the hotel can arrange pick up). Monkey park is quite close (around 15min taxi away). Overall we couldn’t recommend this hotel more!

Fufu Kyu-Karuizawa Seiyou No Mori se nachází v destinaci Karuizawa. Muzeum železnice Usui Pass je 20 km daleko a Honmachi Machiyakan 25 km. The hotel is small and quiet; the room is large and most importantly have a private hot spring. The food was excellent and staff very friendly.

The room is just giving a different vibe and energies. I love the robes and winter coat provided, they are light but amazingly warm!

We had a fabulous experience. My two daughters 6, 4 loved the complimentary camp fire with marshmellows and hot cocoa. We enjoyed the attached private bath as well. Staff was exceptional. You get what you pay for!

Located in Karuizawa, Kyukaruizawa Kikyo, Curio Collection by Hilton is situated a 6-minute walk from Kyu Karuizawa Ginza Dori shopping street. Service was excellent, shuttle service was amazing, breakfast was delicious and rooms were very comfortable. Love the coffee machine. Staff were always ready to assist us.

Featuring a hot tub, massage treatments and tennis courts, Hotel La Neige offers rooms with a balcony and nature views. It provides a free shuttle service and free Wi-Fi. Their staff is second to none! They were just the best and outmost tentative and helpful. Any question or request we had, they assisted us with no issues and the highest professionalism. Always with a genuine smile and care. The facility is also superb and the room has everything we needed (including delicious snacks and drinks). Breakfast was good as well. We were sad we couldn’t stay there longer.

HOTEL LA VIGNE HAKUBA by Onko Chishin se nachází v destinaci Hakuba. Tsugaike Kogen ski areál se nachází 9 km daleko a Nagano železniční stanice 43 km. Everything. This is a new hotel, and considering they have only been open for one month, they excelled in every possible way. The rooms are wonderfully spacious, with kitchenettes and even a washing machine. The hotel also has a free shuttle service to pick you up from the station, and get you to the slopes. For skiing, the hotel is perfect. The ski rental, Spicy Rentals, is next door, and the hotel has lockers to keep your equipment. But, perhaps, best of all, there is the restaurant. Incredible French style cooking with Japanese elements. The chef is very creative, and the Maitre D, Mr. Yoshida, was gracious and extremely professional. Their tasting menu is 7 to 8 courses, perfectly cooked and so creatively presented! My wife and I love this hotel!
