The staff was always courteous and friendly, and the dinner and breakfast had plenty of options for a reasonable price. This was the best hotel i stayed in Sri Lanka, and would book again in a heartbeat.

The property is so peaceful on beautiful grounds and the infinity pool has views that are to die for. The staff were all so friendly and hospitable and very pleasant. I would not hesitate to return. Each meal at Santani is an experience, and with no printed menus, the chefs propose a menu to each guest based on the dietary preferences and utilizing the fresh organic vegetables grown on site. All room categories are available on a full-board basis. We loved it so much !! The hotel in real life is much better than pictures here in booking.com. 3 meals was absolutely amazing and super high standard, chefs were professional and smiley, the staff Viraj & Vipula at restaurants were all friendly makes you feel very special. We experience both garden view and Mountain View room, we loved both of them, garden view has outdoor washroom and shower area was a great experience. River walk was a great cardio, the guide was very informative, but remember to bring long pants as there are lots of worms during the walk. We did not experience the spa as we were on budget, but we tried the sauna and steam and relaxed there for 30 mins, it was really zen, we loved it so much and regretted that we did not try the spa.
