Just a 5-minute walk from San Cristobal Church and Central Park, this design hotel offers a gym, business centre and stylish restaurant. Rooms feature a flat-screen TV, iPod dock and free Wi-Fi. The staff is by far some of the best! I travel often and more places should be lucky enough to have people like this working with them. The manager Anna went out of her way to meet us and make sure we were happy throughout our stay. Beautiful property with amazing service and smiles! I will definitely be back! Also the food in the hotel is delicious and Hotel Bo has amazing charm.

The hotel is also about a 5 minutes walk away from the city center. We arrived late and couldn't speak Spanish, so one of the hotel employees even joined us in the car to guide us to the hotel parking lot.

We have been travelling for three weeks but this was our favourite place. We stayed in a junior suite which was huge, well-appointed and had a balcony with seating. The place feels very tropical and has lots of trees and a lake and a cascading pool area. We ate dinner here and the menu featured a range of traditional Mayan dishes that were delicious. There were a couple of families of howler monkeys in the surrounding trees and listening to them in the morning and at dusk was incredible. Staff were all great and we would have loved to have stayed longer than 4 nights. Very hard to leave this special place right in the jungle. It was only 4km from the ruins, we caught a taxi there, but walked back via a very good footpath.
