Good value, great breakfast and lots of facilities.
Wenquan
Located in Wenquan Village in Taitung, Hotel Royal Chihpin offers a 5-star accommodation with free WiFi and scenic views of the surrounding landscapes. All rooms had been renovated before the end of October 2017. Both indoor and outdoor hotspring pools, as well as relaxing spa treatments, are provided. A free buffet breakfast is available. Buffet is very nice, plenty of choices. The show during the night is exceptional. Public hot spring facility is very well. There are plenty of activities offered by hotel. It would be better if hotel could send activity information in advance, so that we won't miss it.
Luye
Featuring a private balcony, modern air-conditioned rooms are equipped with an electric kettle, minibar and a flat-screen TV with cable channels. Rooms are accessible by lift and come with en suite bathroom offering a hairdryer and shower facility. Personal hot spa in rooms. Luxurious accomodation. Morning breakfast had an amazing selection. Clean, safe and secure.

Of course the main upside is the location - you are basically right on top of the harbor, perfect if you have an early ferry to catch the next morning. The building and amenities are a little old and not luxurious, but it's totally satisfactory considering the price.
The room though aged, is superbly clean. The owner is kind enough to lend me his bicycle. Also recommendations from the owner are also very helpful in planning my stay in Chenggong township. The hotel is very close to the bus stop and market.
This time we stayed in a six-bed backpacker room on the second floor, but there is still an exclusive bathroom on the first floor. The whole place has a strong Aboriginal style and there are some handmade accessories for sale. The environment is very clean, especially the bathroom. I especially recommend the owner's homemade breakfast, it's very tasty and there are plenty of portions!
Superbly comfortable place with the best view over the mountains and peddle field. Professional hospitality and exceptional friendly staffs. They organized evening events on the New Year's Eve and New Year with generous food and snacks. They have spacious lobby and a common room with 24 hours supply of drinks and snacks. They have breakfast coupons which covers most of the best local eating places. We have excellent breakfast - the best rice offers - at the hotel next-door. A special gem at Chisang.
The design of the hostel is simple and classy. Facilities are clean and well maintained. The owners are also very friendly and I enjoyed interacting with them. We welcomed the new year (2024) together and it was a night to remember.
The owners were so nice! Service with a very welcoming smile! Feels like a warm home and it looks like a 5-star location! If I have known it I would have stayed for a longer period. 5-Stars is not enough!
The property is very new and modern, great design, secure parking, and the location is superb. The room was spacious and comfortable, I didn’t want to leave.
The place is superb. It is a self full functioned apartment, with full kitchen, living room and bedroom. The front place by the front door has a nice view of Taitung Fugang Harbor. They also have semi indoor garage for car park. The place include free coupon for local breakfast place in the neighborhood. I especially love their Japanese style bedroom.
Outstanding! Clean, comfortable and in a terrific location. We will come back
