Amazing experience!! We would definitely book again. The room had a really good and comfortable vibe and we liked to hang out at home as well. We had a lovely cleaning lady who took care of everything in the room. When she noticed we kept skipping breakfast she even brought us fruits to the room, she is really the sweetest! We can recommend the facilities to foreigners as well, we have 0 Mandarin skills, but the staff made an effort to communicate everything carefully nevertheless.

I had an extraordinary nice stay at the Somerset with staff going way beyond what could have been expected. I may in particular mention Denise. Her English is among the best I came across in Chongqing and she was a true treasure. Will definitely come again!

I like that it was quiet at night. The balcony views were fantastic. The owner and staff were very helpful and cheerful. The owner spoke English. The location is really close to the train station and in walking distance to a few of the attractions. It's also a central location if you want to do day trips, such as Ciqikou and Laojundong. I also like the bidet toilet that had warm seats which are very nice in the winter! I would want to stay here again when I come back!
