Perfect place for a rest day on the coast to coast walk. We stayed in the attic room which was very spacious with a huge bathroom with bath and seperate shower. The room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The Juliette balcony was great to nosey at world. Breakfast was an epic with yoghurt, cereal, full English and barista made coffee. Breakfast is from 8am but on our second morning we wanted an earlier start so arranged for a bacon butty and coffee to go. Everyone we interacted were very helpful and friendly.

Everything really!! The hotel staff are lovely and welcoming. The place is stunning and views are breathtaking, especially if you get a room with a lake / Hill view. Spotless hotel, room was very big. Food was delicious, nothing was too much for any member of staff to help you with. My family has spa treatments and said they were fabulous, the pool area was gorgeous to lounge around. The outside area to relax was beautiful. Luckily we had amazing weather. We did the whisky tour at the lakes distillery which was so good, beware a taxi ride cost 80 pounds one way! We will Def stay here again when in the UK it was amazing, and a bonus it's dog friendly so I got my dog fix as we live overseas and we're missing ours!!

Honestly my kids were most nervous about staying in a hostel, but we had the most fun from our entire stay (road-tripping throughout the UK). The kitchen was a relief—getting dinner after a long day, or options for full breakfast the next morning were awesome. Excellent location. Was able to purchase early parking and check in. The staff were helpful and welcoming. The hotel was clean, bright, modern and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, fruit juices, fruit, yogurt, granola and cereals and a great selection of cooked breakfast choices.

    Liked the prime location in grasmere. Thought the breakfast was good value and included in the price. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Parking was OK but wasn't too busy. Generally, a laid-back atmosphere and comfortable areas to eat drink and chill out. Had a deluxe room which was clean and the bed comfortable.Towels in bathroom good quality.l Lovely view for window.A character building. Lots of tea coffee, etc, which is always a bonus.
