This bed and breakfast is truly a gem and one of a kind. We have also posted a similar review on google as well. Linda and Jonathan truly care about their guests and are committed to ensuring we feel at home, at ease and comfortable. We had an amazing and relaxing stay here and adored being greeted by little Penny. Such amazing hosts with hearts of gold. The cakes, tea and breakfast were delicious and we loved the sausages. The train station is literally a short walk, peaceful location and kind neighbours. Our room was immaculately clean, cozy and had all the amenities provided to us. We recommend Grove House to anyone looking for a getaway that is a "home away from home." Thank you Linda, Jonathan and little Penny! (Ailene and Mason)

Every staff member was lovely. We were checked in by a lady who had a chefs jacket on so I think she was just doing everything. She was so lovely. She was super with all the customers and was able to have a laugh with us too. Really nice lady.

Very cosy and clean. Very friendly stuff. They made us feel welcome and taken care of. Not too far from the city centre in a safe and clean neighbourhood.

We've had an excellent experience staying 3 days at B+B York with our dog. Beautiful building in a quite, yet central location. All staff members were friendly and helpful. Delicious breakfast with vegetarian options. Our room and bathroom were exceptionally clean. Thanks for everything - would definitely book again.
