Very friendly and attentive staff and Andrea the manager. Beautiful view and very nice beach right in front of the hotel. Very clean property. Probably the best choice if you want comfort and relax away from the overhyped locations near by like Hiriketiya and others.

This room... The pictures are 100% accurate, but don't capture how nice it feels to stay there. A peacock flew onto my balcony! This is the only time I really enjoyed my time in the room during my entire stay The hosts are the sweetest ladies. Even gave me free beers!

It is so quiet and peaceful. The price is very reasonable as well. We are in the beach front and the view is just amazing. Food is superb. We ate and availed of their food service and the food is just great. Hotel service is excellent. 100/10.

We never planned to go to Tangalle. Reading the reviews of this property put Tangalle on the radar for us. I read somewhere that Nick (the owner) once said: “I became utterly mesmerized by the chaotic beauty of this island and its peoples’ great charm. From that moment my head, heart, body and soul took root here…” I believe, a part of us took root at Buckingham Place. We shall return. And you, yes you reading this, get your butt over there ASAP!
