This was the best equipped apartment we stayed in during our recent European trip, comfortable beds, good hot water, quiet location. within reasonable walking distance to supermarkets. Because we were only traveling by trains, the host, Mike, offered to collect us and take us back to the train station. Our hostess, Chisato is very friendly and helpful. A beautiful location with a garden with direct access to the walking path along the Mosel River.

A character building in centre of small town. Lovely quirky room with beams and a little balcony overlooking a small private courtyard for residents. Sadly it rained so could not sit outside. We ate in the restaurant after having to go elsewhere for a beer. See comment below. The food was typical German fare and the place very popular. It is a wine cellar and the restaurant is full of interesting objects and decor reflecting this. The most impressive thing of all was the breakfast which was eye popping in the massive choice of cold meats, cheese, pickles, breads, jams and so on.

Very friendly people, excellent service and a good breakfast. Dinner was top. We also enjoyed the terrace and the views around. Trittenheim is a small but nice village, good for walking, biking, ... in the surroundings you also find nice villages, worth a visit. Good wines and beautiful nature. We will be happy to come back here.

Very calm place and a lovely family taking care of the place. The view on the wine yards is beautiful and relaxing.
