Chateau du Rivau is a wonderful place to stay. The service was exceptional - the communication so responsive before we arrived, even booking us a reservation at a local restaurant (we arrived on a day the hotel’s restaurant was closed) and helping us when we arrived later than planned due to roadworks. The room was beautiful - a lovely combination of period and modern style, with a great bathroom. I highly recommend enjoying the gardens in the evening (if arriving on a day restaurant is closed, consider bringing a picnic and staying on site).

This manor is located near the Château d'Amboise. It offers a large outdoor swimming pool with a terrace and sun beds. Greeted by polite and professional staff (Gerald), he was attentive and helpful. Our beds were wonderful as were the sheets and towels. Our needs were attended to, by recommendations for restaurants, for medicine and for laundry. The car park was safe and convenient The Mansion has great history and an elevator for suitcases.
