Staff is very helpful and speak excellent english. Parking is not easy, but hotel parking inside gates is appreciated. Great beds.

The location is perfect (ok, it was a very sunny weekend in September) for walks, swims and dinning in the village.

It was one of the most lovely and whimsical places I’ve ever stayed. Behind the hotel is a beautiful mountain which seems to always have paragliding happening. The other side is the beautiful lake where you can sit on chairs right next to the water while you eat and drink wine. The character and history of the building was beautiful. The staff was excellent, especially the waiters and waitresses. I am vegan and my boyfriend vegetarian, they were more than happy to make us amazing meals! There is a plant based menu for dinner as well which we were so happy to see. The food is wonderful and beautifully presented. They have a nice parking lot for people who drive there and have bikes you can rent which I highly recommend. We will definitely try to return soon!

It’s approx. 10 minute walk (downhill!) to the beach which was busy in July but had a great atmosphere. Note that if you’re driving there in the summer some of the roads become one way and Google doesn’t seem to know that! The village of veyrier-du-lac has a couple of boulangieres, a mini-mart, a pharmacy and a tourist info centre. Again about a 10 minute walk away. The town of Annecy is a 10 minute drive but we liked being out of town and in a quieter location. Annecy old town is beautiful and I can see why they call is the Venice of the Alps. Patrick is the perfect host, welcoming us and explaining everything, going above and beyond any expectation we may have had. The quality of the accommodation is outstanding and I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to unwind with a hint of luxury.

The apartment was spotlessly clean and well equipped. Beds were very comfortable. The hosts were very helpful and accommodating and left lots of helpful information in the apartment. We’d definitely stay here again!

Although it looks old from the outside, we chose it because of its history. But once we entered the room, we were stunned by the modern decor and it has everything you need. The host Kim was very warm and provided very detailed information. The welcome sign in the room was very heartwarming. We highly recommend this apartment .
