We were in a calm area of the camping. The aquagym in the morning was great.

It is located on the Médoc wine route, 1 km from the Gironde estuary. Perfect location, in a quiet spot beside a little fishing port, but possible to drive to Bordeaux in a couple of hours. Really good swimming pool which we had to ourselves every afternoon, much needed during hot weather. Owners friendly and helpful but also gave us space to enjoy our holiday.

The room was a good size and the bed was comfortable. The staff in the restaurant were friendly, efficient and attentive. They offered a range of wines from budget friendly to premium at a fair price. The new heated swimming pool was lovely to relax in during a rainy day. The hotel is located right on the Gironde in the center of Pauillac, with a number of cafes, grocery stores and a few restaurants in walking distance. There’s free parking directly across the street. A great place to base yourself as you explore the Left Bank.
