Certain units at the property feature a balcony with a garden view. This was one of my favorite hotels ever. Aptly named, the hotel is set in a hidden, lush garden. The rooms are clean, comfortable and cozy. Wifi is strong and stable. The location is a few mins walk from the city center, a bit dark at night (like everywhere), but safe. Breakfast offers three choices, I tried them all and they were all excellent. The hotel offers a free walking tour and can arrange excursions at a reasonable price for you - all worked out perfectly. Staff is extraordinary - especially the front office folks are incredibly sweet, exceptionally helpful and also speak excellent English. I had an issue with an onward trip and they did everything they could to help me fix it. Charlie the cat - who loves cuddles - is a bonus. I loved every minute here and would 100% recommend this place to anyone.

The best stay we had so far in central america. Rooms are spacious. Pool is refreshing and food delicious. Staff was very nice and it was nice and quiet despite being located in the center of Granada.

The colonial-style rooms feature tiled floors and have air conditioning and a fan. There is cable TV, a desk and private bathroom with a shower and toiletries. This is a stunning property. The hotel is beautiful- the rooms are lovely, the pools are beautiful and the whole ambiance is lovely - bright, cheerful and colourful. The breakfast was fantastic - great food and great service - and the location was brilliant - right in the heart of town - close to everything including great restaurants. But it’s the team of people at the hotel who really excel- Laura, Daniella and Luis on the front desk, Stephen on the bell desk and Gretal and Judit in the restaurant - the whole team were friendly, warm and engaging. They couldn’t have taken better care of us.

Our suite exceeded our expectations. Absolutely stunning place to stay and worth every penny. Would 100% recommend this hotel, and without a doubt would rebook when visiting Granada again.

El Almirante is a pleasant, eco-friendly hotel located in Granada's historic centre, 500 metres from Granada Cathedral. Set in pretty gardens, it offers an outdoor pool, sun terrace and free Wi-Fi.

The colonial-style, air-conditioned rooms at Hotel El Almirante Granada all include eco-friendly appliances. Each has a plasma cable TV, minibar, safe and en-suite bathroom. Great pool and breakfast. Shower pressure was very good. Nice spacious rooms.

Stunning island setting with view to Isletas and towards Mount Mombacho on the other side of the island. It felt magical as we were the sole visitors. The room was well appointed and luxurious. A shame our hi-tech shower had no hot water, for this price I expect a high end bathroom experience, the water was cold the mini bar was empty and no tea/coffee making facility. The staff however were friendly.

The room was big and comfy. Great for a romantic escapade.
