An amazing building staffed by amazing people. The food was top notch, matching the service. The staff was very knowledgeable regarding the history of the building and I even got a personal tour by the fantastic Michael, due to me having the luck of arriving on a slow evening. The chef had a night of due to this, but Michael made me a fabulous Toast Skagen and the best Västerbotten pie that I have lever tasted. Come to think of it, the Toast Skagen was propbably the best I ever had as well. It was served with some fantastic ölkorv (small smoked sausages). The building itself is truly amazing, I think you could walk here for days and still find new amazing details of loving craftsmanship. It is truly astonishing and a thing of beauty to behold. Henceforth, whenever I visit either Huskvarna or Jönköping, I will choosr Hotell Slottsvillan whenever possible. The 10 minute drive to central Jönköping is well worth it due to the astonishing experience of feeling as the King of the Castle for a few days. 12 out 10 stars!

Hotel Bellevue is located in the Stadsparken park in central Hjo, right next to Lake Vättern. It offers free Wi-Fi, private parking and a relaxation area with sauna. Breakfast was good. Lots of options.

Set in natural surroundings overlooking Lake Vättern and Visingsö Island, this hotel is 8 minutes’ drive from Gränna Harbour. The Breakfast was exceptional. There was a wide array of food choices along with fresh fruit and beverages.

Situated in a beautiful 19th century building in Jönköping, Elite Stora Hotellet boasts beautiful views over Lake Vättern and a convenient city location. Perfect location in city centre nearby lake. Parking nearby hotel. Excellent breakfast - pancakes, fruits, everything you could imagine. :) I loved it!

Set in a charming early 19th-century building, Home Hotel Victoria is just 250 metres from Jönköping Central Station and Lake Vättern. It offers a free evening buffet and free sauna access. Everything in this hotel is great. Starting with the personnel and ending with all the different services provided. They not only include breakfast, but also a sort of meat at tea-time (fika) and supper. Breakfast has a great variety of food, including options for allergic (as myself) which I truly appreciate. For supper there is not so much variety, but still sufficient. I didn't used the other services such as the sauna, but they also provide free access. The hotel is very cozy mimicking a house with nice spots all over. Truly recommendable.

Starby Spa, Hotell & Konferens offer a unique combination of relaxation, gastronomy, and first-class service. Fantastic service, always smiling personnel, good breakfast with lots of different food. Excellent hotel to stay in. So near to tourist places like the castle and the big lake of Vettern.

Housed in a former monastery from the Middle Ages, this historic hotel is located on Lake Vättern in quaint Vadstena. Guests can relax with in the peaceful settings or at the on-site spa. Breakfast was very good, but over two days was served in two different locations and challenging to find.
