With Genius, each reservation you make for an accommodation is counted as a single booking, regardless of the number of nights or rooms involved. For example, if you book multiple rooms in a hotel under a single reservation, it will count as one booking toward your progress.

For flights and other types of bookings like attraction tickets, rental cars, and taxis, the same principle applies. Multiple seats on a single flight or a return flight booked under one reservation count as a single booking.

To unlock Genius Level 1 and 10% discounts on select stays and rental cars, all you need to do is create a free Booking.com account.

Genius has three levels. To progress to Level 2 in Genius, you need to complete five bookings within two years. To progress to Genius Level 3, you need to complete 15 bookings within two years. Each level comes with new rewards and bigger discounts.

The following types of reservations made through Booking.com are excluded from the Genius program: ride hail, cruises, insurance, public transit, free options, and any extra purchases like room upgrades, car seats for rental cars, and additional luggage.

Flight price alerts help you track the prices of a flight route. Subscribe to get alerts sent to your device telling you if the price for that route has fallen, risen, or remained the same.

Search for any flight, and subscribe by turning on the price alert toggle at the top of the search results. Turning the toggle on means you’ll start receiving notifications about price changes for that flight route.

Find and manage your price alerts in your saved list. If you want to stop receiving a price alert, delete it from your list, or go to the search results to turn the toggle on or off.
