Staff, facilities and the property itself is amazing. We stayed there on our way from Dar to Mwanza. We stayed with two of our small dogs. Food was good too. They even packed our breakfast early in the morning as per request. Would love to visit again.

We had a wonderful stay at Pangani Cliffs! The staff and managers went above and beyond to make us feel truly welcome and cared for. The food was outstanding, every day brought a new dish prepared with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. They also arranged a fantastic boat trip to Maziwe Island, where we had a great time. We loved exploring the reef at low tide, unwinding by the pool, and enjoying delicious cocktails with a breathtaking ocean view. I would highly recommend spending at least 2-3 days here, as there are plenty of activities to enjoy and discover. 😍

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at African Bungalows in Nungwi, Zanzibar. This cozy gem exceeded all my expectations. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, always going above and beyond to make sure guests feel at home. The food is absolutely delicious, every meal was a treat!
The hotel is nestled in a beautiful garden that creates a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere with a lovely pool. And the hotel is just a one minute walk to the stunning beach. The rooms are clean, offering everything you need for a comfortable stay and the bed was very comfortable, I had the best sleep in a long time. Another standout feature is the generator so you never have to worry about power interruptions.
If you’re looking for a perfect spot for relaxation with excellent food and service in Zanzibar, I highly recommend African Bungalows. I’ll definitely come back!

The property is lovely. The staff are so accommodating. Excellent food. Amazing service.
Too much money and I hope that they can help the maasai community more where the lodge is located. They receive no benefit from giving up their land for the lodge to use.
