This was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. The family and their staff made us feel included right away. They helped us with transportation, stopped to view the camels along the way. The space is exceptional, beautiful, inviting, comfortable, luxury in the middle of the desert. The amazing abundant dinner they provided! Our stay at Khan Alsira was a very nice experience for our family. We booked both the tent and the two-room apartment so that our group members had a choice in case the tent would be less comfortable. However, most of them preferred the tent. We had breakfast in the tent as well on the first day. Second day we had to leave very early to catch our flight but the owner prepared a take away breakfast for us that we could consume during the trip to the airport. The hospitality of the bedouin family was great. We also had dinner with them and tea and the owner told us a lot about their way of life and how they cope with all the constraints of having to take care for a lot of facilities like energy and waste collection themselves. The location is perfect for trips to destinations in the Negev or around the Dead Sea. Negev Camel Ranch is only 30 minutes away and Dead Sea around 45 minutes. We can absolutely recommend this place.
