Amazing location! Easy walking distance to go to Little Adam’s for sunrise and also easy access to go to 9 arches bridge for beautiful early morning lighting and no crowds. The food here was wonderful and really friendly and kind owners!

Sudha is the most hospitable host and it was a pleasure to stay here. The location is great—right next to the train station off the main tourist street. The route for Ella Rock starts here. And the way to the 9-arches bridge is also an easy walk from here. I also greatly appreciated the arrangement of a scooter and driver for a day excursion to Diyaluma. Also, the cooking class is highly recommended—and delicious! This has definitely been the loveliest stay in Sri Lanka so far!

Very nice spot in the forest with an amazing view, good place to relax outside, read a book or just enjoy the surroundings. Food was very good. Very friendly staff. Perfect location for Pekoe trail hikers.

Where to start... this place is magical! We ended up at Vitajs camp by chance and it turned out to be our favorite days in Sri Lanka!!! If you like nature, remote camping, hiking and a bit of adventure it is more then perfect. The camp is located on a tea farm, only accessible via foot, so it's so calm and peaceful, really a piece of heaven. You can come from haputale via tuktuk, leave big bags at the house on top of the hill and just bring what you need for the night down to the camp. CAVE: You should be comfortable with walking, no electricity and cold water, if not, it's probably not for you. If yes, you will have the greatest time, Viraj and his family are the nicest and most welcoming people we've met in Sri Lanka so far. He speaks perfect English and is super open minded and a fun guy, so you can hang out with him at the nightly campfire, chat and learn lots about Sri Lanka culture. And the food his mum cooks... just amazing, also best I've had so far, no lie. 11/10.

The hosts are friendly and kind. We booked at the late night since our schedule changed suddenly. They were still welcoming us and offering us the cozy room. They cooked delicious food for us! The best food that I ever ate so far in Sri Lanka!!😚 They even brought us to Ella city to walk around together and treated us the meal! Feel so lucky and grateful to stay in this fantastic place!
