From the moment we met Larbi there was an instant connection. His welcoming warmth made us feel at home. We picked him up and drove out to his camp not knowing what to expect. We were remote, away from the tours, with waves of golden sand at our feet. After tea, Beth and I walked the dunes to watch a lovely sunset. After a delicious tagine, we were surprised with a full moon rising and a sky of stars. The quiet was deafening, then broken with Berber rhythms from Larbi, his brother Nayim and friend Bryham. We danced by the fire and then shared life stories. We now have a new desert family.

Staying two nights with Younas, Hamid and Rasheed was easily the shining highlight of our three week trip to Morocco. These wise, young, generous men couldn’t have done anything more to warm our hearts, enrich our experience or increase our comfort. They went above and beyond in every way, we absolutely adored them, the accommodation and the magic of their dunes, camels, food, etc. Highly recommend - if we ever make it back, we would love to see them and stay with them again!!

Dawood and Hicham have been so nice with us, helped us in any way possible, from letting us cook to use the washing machine. Plus the breakfast was 10/10! I spent an unforgettable night. We left our car in Tagounit and took a 4x4 car, deep into the sand dunes, an exciting journey that offered views of ostriches, camels, and gazelles. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff, who made us feel right at home. Special thanks to our driver, Essahel, who made the trip smooth and enjoyable. The camp is perfectly situated in the middle of big stunning sand dunes, far from any light pollution, offering a sense of wonderful isolation and tranquility. The tents were very clean, beautiful, and authentically decorated, providing a comfortable night’s sleep. Dinner was a highlight, with a delicious Tagine, Soupe and fruits. That we thoroughly enjoyed. After supper, we were treated to great traditional music played right in front of us, making the evening even more special. The communal area was a great place to relax and chat with other guests, creating an enjoyable and sociable atmosphere. Not to forget, we had a wonderful camel ride at sunset to the big sand dune, which was an incredible experience. Star gazing under the unpolluted night sky was magical, and waking up to the sunrise over the dunes was breathtaking. On our way back, we even saw nomads, adding to the authenticity of the journey. This camp offers a genuine desert experience that I highly recommend. Thank you to everyone at the camp for making this an incredible adventure. I am looking forward to visiting you very soon♥️

The camp is outside of town on the edge of the desert. All the little tent/cabins are originally painted. The place is very charming, and the hosts went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. They took us on an extensive tour of the desert and dunes and never seemed rushed. I would love to go back in another season.
