Glamping Sites in Bohinj

We don't rate often. Almost never over 8, since 9 and 10 are for when a place gets it really right. This place did. At a price point of places much less impressive. To those whom this matters, they have their own AC EV CHARGING STATION with Mennekes type 2 plug. 1. Location: It is about 1km from edge of lake Bled in direction of lake Bohinj. So you can walk but part of the road is not necessarily pedestrian friendly as it lacks a sidewalk. Not sure if there is public transport. It is next to main road but far enough to be quiet. Lovely garden with large pavilion, tables and barrel shaped glamping units next to a pond. Very pleasant. 2. Building and room: It is a completely renovated historic house. Everything in it is new and of high quality. Furniture, utensils, even oil, vinegar.. in guest kitchen in ground floor. There is a washer and a dryer in adjacent laundry room. Tastefully equipped with a pleasant vibe. Nice for larger gatherings also. Just very very cosy. Room was nice, bed comfortable, thermostat worked as intended. All needs met or exceeded. Need to give those barrel glamping units a try sometime but rooms are so nice that maybe not yet during first next visit. Later.. 3. Vibe: Excellent mix of traditional and contemporary architecture, interior design.. Loved.it. Ended up persuading another couple to come over also. Had a blast. They took the larger unit at top floor. A bit of overkill, since it can sleep 4+ but they loved it. 4. Host: Wonderful. Extremely accommodating, pleasant, helpful, lots of tips. Can tell she put a lot of effort into this and is rightfully proud. 5. Value. I genuinely think this the best value in this region. Just abundance of quality touches coziness, excellent starting spot for all surrounding areas.. I can't imagine anyone not being extremely pleased here.

Having a private hot tub and sauna was great. The breakfast spread was wide ranging and delicious.

I had an apartment with 2 balconies, both with view of the mountains. Beautifully set up apartment with lovely natural things, on a lovely piece of land right next to the river. I ate at their restaurant on one night and the food was beautiful.

it was a beautiful location and we loved how green and earth friendly it was. loved our hot tub on our treehouse deck. breakfast was incredible!

The place is AMAZING, everyone going to Lake Bled should stay at least one night at Garden Village. Breakfast is excellent and the staff is really friendly and helpful.

The location and the (very minimalist) cabin itself were both gorgeous. We also appreciated that the host allowed us to park a camper for one night.

Helpful and friendly hostess. A wonderful breakfast, brought to the apartment. Large bedroom. Excellent location, close to the ski resort (5 minutes drive).

Juditha was available and very responsive. I liked her apartment - very comfortable.

The wooden tent Was great! Very clean, with comfortable mattress. The area is beafutifull, a huge garden where you can play however you want. Even a swimming pool. Every tent has its own fridge. There is also a common kitchen, fully equipped.

The location is superb, with mountain views. The little cabin room was very clean and comfortable, it had a terrace which was very convenient. The cabin didn't have electricity but this was solved with battery lamps and power bank was provided too. Even though there are multiple cabins in one area, they are arranged in a way that guests don't interfere with each other if they don't want to. The host was very friendly. Complimentary house wine. Overall, it was exactly what I wanted - couple of rest days in the country side with comfortable facilities. Every little detail though of. Greatly recommended.
