It was pure understated elegance and a wonderful experience. The food and the staff were amazing. Every day was different: outdoor braai, elegant dinner, casual lunch .. etc. We tried Kudu and Ostrich and local dishes like Bobooti. It was lovely. Pool is lovely and overlooking a waterhole where elephants would always gather. Safari drives weee excellent. We saw hippo and buffalo and lions and elephants and giraffes and water hog and rhino and zebra and kudu and impala and baboon and crocodile … only thing we didn’t spot was the leopard. Will definitely come again. Staff were incredible too.

Game drives, Never and Mateo's excellent knowledge and personalities. They truly provided a once in a lifetime experience for us, getting close to animals and doing their best to take on any requests. Their local perspective, knowledge and stories added a unique twist compared to other game drives we've done. Never was the outgoing friendly Energetic personality while Mateo added a sense of safety in the bush. As mentioned they both have outstanding knowledge. Never's game drives are like a fun learning experience while driving through the African bush. Mateo has many years of experience in tracking and we enjoyed his in depth knowledge. This hotel is a sight to be seen. I felt like I was staying in a multi-thousand dollar-a-night hotel within the game reserve. The decorations, the size of the room, the bed, the cotton sheets, and the view of monkeys and other animals outside my sliding glass door. The amenities provided in the rooms made you never want to leave. I have had coffee in the morning on my private balcony in my bathrobe after my wonderful hot shower in the luxurious bathroom. At night we sat by the pool drinking wine after our dinner. This exceptional hotel is the best-valued hotel I have ever visited.

Wonderful lodge with absolutely amazing staff who made our stay unforgettable. Beautifully decorated bungalows with private balconies overlooking the river. Food was fantastic, service was excellent, overall ten out of ten.

The head chef is brilliant and talented. His food was the highlight of our stay. Personnel were really very professional. The guide impressed us with his knowledge. My whole family is knowledgeable on the local fauna and flora and he we tested his knowledge. On some subjects we learnt from him.

A very nice manor owned by Trevor Jordon opened up for guests to experience the private game reserves of Khaya Ndlovo and Lakeview. The interior design is very interesting with lot of African art, books and personal items of the owner. Great morning and afternoon game drives each 3,5 hours. The food was great. Be sure to experience one of their BBQ nights. We stayed inside the main building which offered the nicest rooms in our opinion.

This property is absolutely gorgeous. The people who work here are amazing and kind. We appreciate their work with the vulture conservation and enjoyed watching the vultures through their telescope. We loved every second of our stay and would have loved to have stayed even longer. This was by far our favorite stay on our entire trip!
