It rained the whole day when we were there, but staying here still make it a worthwhile vacation. The bathtub and the bbq was wonderful, and the place was quite private. Being able to spend the evening by the log burner in the very well-appointed Barn was a real bonus. Definitely a style of accommodation worth trying and this is probably the place to do it.

Our original accommodation was cancelled due to weather damage so we booked this stay last minute. And well, it was a blessing in disguise. The Bush Retreat turned out to be our favorite accommodation during our whole 10 day trip in Tasmania. The grounds and facilities were absolutely gorgeous. The staff was lovely. She answered all our questions about the stay and also offered plenty of recommendations for our vacation itinerary. The honesty bar had reasonable priced food and drinks. We also took full advantage of the kitchen.
