I visited several hostels in Central America in the last months, and this was by far my favorite. The beds are comfortable and the dorm rooms have AC, the pool and hammocks amazing, the kitchen and bathrooms are practical and cleaned continuously, and the staff were super friendly and helpful! They can organise surf classes if you want :)

Featuring a bar, the property is located within 49 km of Edgardo Baltodano Stadium. The hotel has family rooms. We loved how unique Curiol is! We stayed in one of the glamping tents, which was very comfortable. Although it's warmer, there was a nice breeze during the evening and we loved listening to the sounds of the community. The bathroom is nicely set up as well at the back of tent, very private. We loved all the lounge areas and pool. The restaurant was open late so when we got back from our evening, we posted up in a cabana and had some late night snacks.

The property was wonderful; the pool / jacuzzi area were great to spend the evening in watching the sun set. And the hiking trails were a fun way to see many local birds (along with a great canine tour guide).
