We had an amazing time staying in the Shepard's hut at Riverside. The accommodation was so unique and great fun! We had a beautiful view of the river and we had everything we needed to make our stay exceptional. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and our host was so helpful and lovely.

Can’t believe I found this place!! Staying here felt like a second honeymoon :) The location is quiet, serene, and scenic right at the foot of the mountains and Killarney National Park. Quick 25-minute walk to downtown Killarney. We had a lovely evening enjoying the riverbed sauna, cooking dinner in our outdoor kitchen, and drinking wine on our patio during sunset. If you’re looking to get out and connect with nature and have a romantic getaway, book this place ASAP!!

Unique, comfortable, very private. “Hut” was so well done! Had a rustic feel with eccentric little details, while clean and convenient. Bed was SO comfortable with electric mattress pad, fluffy comforter, and scrumptious mattress. Beautiful morning had us sitting outside with our coffee, enjoying the view and the critters. Hard to get up and leave by check out time!

Lovely cabin, nice views, heating, everything provided. The hosts went out of their way to help us deal with a problem, it’s easy to host when everything runs to plan but it is a test when things go wrong, we can’t thank them enough and it was a pleasure to meet them, the alpacas and Finbar the cat.

The hotel is a great location. The manager Thomas Green was amazing helping us as my husband had a toothache and he helped us get an appointment at urgent care. He also helped us learning about the area. The restaurant was good as well. There were other people in the front desk that were great as well.
