The tent also comes with a barbecue. 1) Great location, walking distance from Kawaguchiko Station. 2) Unique dome shape, instead of normal rooms/houses. It’s short 3 storey. 1st floor toilets & entrance, 2nd floor is the outdoor dinning & etc, 3rd floor is the room. 3) Super spacious, interior nicely done & lights were able to dim to make the place more cozy. 4) Quiet neighbourhood 5) The beautiful view of Mount Fuji, especially in the morning sipping coffee

If you are travelling to Mount Fuji, this is a MUST STAY!!! Prior to arriving, my fiancé and I were feeling a bit hesitant as we did not have a car, and were unsure how we were going to access restaurants/ the main town. BUT, this was not an issue at all. If you are also concerned about this, please don’t be!!! We were collected from Kawaguchiko Station at 5pm on the day of our arrival. The staff were so accomodating and flexible to collect us despite 5pm being outside of their shuttle collection times. We really appreciated this. Each day, the staff operate a shuttle to the main town, leaving at 10am and then collecting you again at 3.30pm or 4.30pm to return to the campsite. We used this service on our full day at Mount Fuji and it was perfect. We didn’t feel like we needed a car at all. The staff at Kawaguchiko Station are so knowledgeable and helpful to support you to find your way around the main town. There is a free shuttle service to main parts of the town which we used to spend our day at a traditional Japanese onsen. We purchased breakfast at the campsite both mornings that we were there. It was delicious and I definitely recommend this as if you don’t bring your own food, you won’t be able to access food until you use the shuttle and get to the main town. We chose not to purchase the BBQ dinner as we thought this was quite pricey. Instead, we use the Cafe at the campsite to order some wood fire pizza’s. The cafe is open from 9am to 6pm. We pre-planned and ordered our pizza’s at about 5pm. We then kept these stored until we were ready for dinner and reheated them on the barbecue. Much cheaper and still delicious. So if you also don’t have a car, there is definitely still ways to access food with a bit of pre-planning. Our campsite was warm, cosy, clean and the view of Mt Fuji is breathtaking!!!! I don’t think you can find a more incredible view than at Qoonel!!!

The location was easily navigated by google map and close to the Main Street which takes 5-10min drive to supermarket and convenience store nearby, and about 10-15 min drive to local restaurants. Not too close to lake kawaguchiko tourist area ( i wasn’t the one driving but it felt like a 20-30min ride) and the outdoor living space and neighborhood was quiet.

The tent provides air conditioning, a dining area, a terrace with garden views as well as a shared bathroom featuring a shower. The unit offers 2 beds. Everything was so thoughtfully designed to create an amazing guest experience—beautiful infrastructure, lots of amenities in the room, and great heating, which really mattered in the cold. The common areas, like the campfire and dining space, were super cozy too. The staff were incredibly warm and friendly, always doing their best, and even gave us a lovely souvenir when we left."

This air-conditioned mobile home comes with 1 living room, 1 separate bedroom and 1 bathroom with a bidet. The mobile home features a seating area. The unit has 3 beds. This is the best place to stay in Yamanakako to have the most convenience access of the Hirano beach and to be ready for the Mt.Fuji photo taking before the sunrise (weather dependent), only if you are not picky about the facilities (new but not as modern as the expensive hotel). I am totally okay with shared washroom. The elder lady (front desk) is very nice, tho she cannot speak English, check-in and instructions are clear enough. She has prepared Chinese check-in instructions separately, so don’t worry about communication issues.
