When I came here the Bubbles I saw were far beyond the pictures shown on booking.com. Space station has landed came into my mind. This is the most innovativ accommodation i saw so far everywhere in the World. Serah really has dared to do something big combining modern and nature, the view to the stars and the quiet places under the trees. I liked her selection of kitchen ware, the furniture and decoration. All bits and pieces are tastefully selected and fit together well. A designer could not have done it better. Beside that I have spent here 2 wonderful days of hiking and relaxing and I even got to know some typical Kenyan meals.  Serah, Jay and Angus thank you for all of that. P.S. don't worry, it is warm in here during the day but it will cool down fast when the sun is down. Until then enjoy the shade.

The best location by the beautiful Galano river where you can dine in candlelight looking at the stars and sit around a campfire or lounge on the decks . Breezy , comfortable breakfast area again overlooking the river . Perfect relaxation after a game drive - a swim in the infinity pool , looking at crocs, hippo and elephants in the stretch of river below . So easy to get to on a quiet tarmaced road from Malindi , no crazy Nairobi road !!! Wonderful to have game drives along the river with knowledgable guides. Staff are super friendly and helpful , nothing too much trouble .

Their houses are goals, and everything about firefly eco is gorgeous. I liked the house I stayed, the tents were great and the food was delicious. The staff is 10/10. Mr. Jacob, in specific, was very kind, helpful and nice towards us. We loved every second of the stay at Firefly Eco.

Specially the people working in the restaurant, bar and the boy at the pool. They are always very willing to help and make your stay special. The place offers incredible views over the Mida creek. The swimming pool area is lovely, the garden is beautiful and well maintained. The food is great, there are plenty delicious options that were well prepared and presented. There is a boat transfer that is free to use between Lichthuis and the hotel, which is very convenient.

I had a truly wonderful stay and was impressed by how thoughtful and caring the entire team was. All staff members were extremely friendly, helpful, and attentive at all times. I arrived outside of the regular check-in hours, and it was no problem at all – they made sure we could still check in smoothly and even provided a lovely lunch package for the occasion. There was so much attention to detail throughout our stay, which made it feel very special. I would absolutely book this place again anytime!

This spacious tent has a large patio facing the Sante River. It includes 4-poster beds with mosquito nets and large, netted windows. Amazing location, great staff, warm hospitality. Unforgatabble good memories.

Great, quiet place in nature setting, but still in the very good place of the town. Two minute walk to the beach, two minute drive to the nearest market. Very good menu to choose from at the bar, with decent prices. Bush baby feeding and karaoke nights are a great experience. Everyone from the staff is helpful and can help with organizing trips for better prices than in other places in the town. Special thanks to Emanuel and boss lady, who put up with our ideas and the cooks for trying to make enough chapati for us and even coming earlier to work to prepare food before our early morning trips. We all want to be like Emanuel when we grow up :)
