Food was amazing, best in that entire area. It was so quiet and peaceful and clear. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

A rare rural retreat from the hassle of being a tourist! The staff were friendly, welcoming and attentive, the food was excellent and plentiful,, quiet and close to the forest and the creek. Basic but all you need to relax and be with nature. I loved the evening fires and the roof top views. A motorbike was on hand for any trips you may want, such as to see the local elephants have an evening drink.

Located at Kilifi Creek, just 1.9 mi outside of town and surrounded by a community forest, Distant Relatives Ecolodge and Backpackers features a secluded beach area, a restaurant and outdoor pool.
