Kambu Mara Camp is situated in Sekenani and offers a bar. Featuring full-day security, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace. The accommodation features a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, a shared kitchen and free WiFi. Excellent price to quality ratio and very well located near the gate while remaining super private. The tents and shared toilets are amazingly clean, which is rare for a budget rented camp. You can see giraffes and zebras from your tent, which is incredible. Best of all has to be the staff - Nelson and the team are always ready to help and very friendly. The food by Chef Nelson is excellent and they’re very flexible to dietary restrictions. All in all, I was very glad I chose this place compared to other expensive lodges.

Extra facilities include a 24-hour front desk, meeting rooms, a tour desk and housekeeping service. Food was amazing. Service was excellent. The owner arranged a safari game drive over 2 days for us and we saw 4 of the Big 5. Driver/guide was experienced and good. All in all a great safari experience. The best national park accoms we've been to in Kenya.

Sitting on a shady raised platform facing the Talek river, each luxury tent covers approximately 26sqm and is fitted with a queen size bed or 2 twin beds. It is furnished in the classic style of the grand African safaris; with large four poster beds and reproduction furniture, offset by modern private bathroom with a hot shower; flush toilets and all the necessary amenities. Since we arrived at Mara Intrepids, they welcomed us like royalty. Our assigned driver was Paul who took care of all our Safaris, every day and every daily route was geared towards showing us the best of Masai Mara, he is definitely responsible for half of all our amazing experiences. He was in charge of contacting us with the Ballon Safari, an experience that I recommend not to be missed and take us to visit the Masai Mara Village. Upon arriving at the Camps, Debbie, Queen and Daysi welcomed us, with exquisite hot towels for our hands and an exquisite juice, offering and demonstrating to us in spades during our stay that they would be there for everything we needed and that was the case. Our room was taken care of by Leah, who every day dedicatedly prepared our room, closed our musketeers, set out hot water bottles and brought hot chocolate or coffee for us before our first daily game drive around 6 am. After returning from our Safaris, delicious food awaited us in the restaurant where Shillaw and Masila were in charge of serving us, knowing our tastes and often anticipating our requirements, they consented our son with all his tastes. I just want to say, if you want to know Masai Mara, the place is Mara Intrepids. It is worth every penny and despite being as generous as we could with our tips, it will never be enough to compensate for the attention. Asanté!!

The fireplace is a top feature of this tent. The well-equipped kitchenette has a stovetop, a refrigerator and kitchenware. The tent features a tea and coffee maker, a seating area, a balcony with garden views as well as a private bathroom boasting a shower. The unit has 1 bed. Remarkable three days at Kobe Mara. Even though we arrived by car late at night and during a storm, we were warmly welcomed with dinner and blankets. The tent was clean and comfortable, and camp location was excellent. With only 4 tents and 1 large house spaced out from each other, no fences and no other camps around, it is so peaceful (apart from the animals of course!) and a perfect escape from city life. We recommend booking game drives via the camp too - our guide Nickson was incredible and we saw all the animals we had hoped to find. Kobe Mara staff did a fantastic job and everyone was so friendly and kind. As a bonus, we were treated to a group dinner as all guests were departing on the same day, featuring a Maasai celebration. A special thanks to our waiter Jonathan and the manager Sammy for everything :)
