Very close to the beach, 20 mins from Welligama by public transport. We stayed two more days because we enjoyed the place and the proximity from the beach. Definitely recommend to stay there! Very friendly and funny dogs too :)

Pokoje o ploše 25 m². Immerse yourself in nature on the shores of beautiful Southern Sri Lanka. Talalla Retreat is a beachfront resort located on a pristine, white sandy beach. Beautiful location on the beach. Individual bamboo huts and air con rooms . Tried both and each has its benefits. Huts are quite open and attract jungle visitors as expected but all part of the experience, just be sure to take precautions against mosi’s. Beds were very comfortable and both huts and rooms have a comfy outdoor seating area. Food was good (buffet style) but maybe an occasional BBQ would have added some variety. Staff are very attentive and reception staff were helpful. Easy to get a Tuk-Tuk just outside the main gate. A few restaurants within walking distance. Sun beds were a bit short on a couple of days. There is an overall chilled vibe which is extremely relaxing. Would recommend.
