If you are coming to Udawalawe for a safari then this is the place to stay. Located very close to the National Park entrance this camp had us feeling like we were one with nature. Our room tent/cabin was ready on arrival. It is not a hotel so you should know going in that this is a camping adventure. Beds were comfy and cam with very good mosquito nets. The bathroom was clean and the water pressure was fine. There is no A/C but you do get a floor fan and the room also has plenty of outlets for charging. You get your own private deck in front of your tent with chairs and a beautiful view of the river. I would suggest allowing them to prepare all of your meals. They were all delicious and came at a fair price considering there is nowhere else to eat within a mile or two. The camp prepares and takes car of everything for you, meals, free river tour, and free night walk after dinner. They also will book your safari for you. Once you arrive, you do nothing. It was absolutely amazing.

Ahaspokuna by Eco Team se nachází v destinaci Belihul Oya a nabízí zahradu, terasu a výhled na hory. This is one of the best locations I’ve visited so far. Situated in a very remote area where there’s limited access to outer world. You have to take a basic nature trail to reach the destination which my family enjoyed much. once you entered the premises it’s like you stepped into another country. Very calm and peaceful environment so we need to adopt to the destination. I recommend this place to all nature lovers who look for places where you can blend with nature. Limited electricity so prepare yourself with backups. (power banks, flashlights, ect)

This property is absolutely amazing. The huts are luxury. Very comfortable bed, we slept so well. All facilities there that we needed. Outside shower which was interesting & enjoyable in this environment (even in the rain!). The toilet / sink area was covered & down steps in a small outer area. Very quaint. Tea & coffee making facilities in the room & given extra as needed. Bottles & water & toilet paper given each day. Fridge great. The staff were incredibly helpful & friendly. The food was delicious. We had three different types of breakfast. First day served at our table, huge platter of amazing food. The second day we took a packed breakfast on safari, lots of snacks there. The third day it was buffet which was also delicious. Freshly cooked different eggs on top of all of other food. We had half board & evening meals were delicious. Highly recommend hot calamari. We also had lunch one day. The club sandwich was full of so many delicious ingredients. The pool was lovely & we used it a lot. We had our own safaris booked, but I know the property will book these. Overall it was such a brilliant experience & would absolutely recommend. They also took a credit card for payment with no extra charge. Excellent. Would definitely return.

Offering river views, this fan-cooled tent has a private entrance, seating area and extra large bed with spring mattress. It includes a hot water shower, towel and shoe racks. This place is magical. It is an experience where you stay in tents, but you have everything you need, even the hairdryer. The view on the Jungle is amazing se even saw bih group od monkeys jumping on the roof tent and that was amazing experience. The nature around is so beautiful, beyond Words. When we came we were greeted with wet towels and amazing juice. The breakfast is buffet and is amazing. The restaurant on site has amazing food. Everybody is so friendly. The place is good starting point for Udawalawe national park and they organise everything for the safari, which was amazing. We saw elephants, crocodiles, buffallos and few beautiful birds including peacocks. In the evening we were relaxing in the pool and saw hundreds of bats flying in dusk. What an amazing sight. I highly recommend this property.

Athgira River Camp se nachází u národního parku Udawalawe s výhledem na řeku Rakwana. K vodní nádrži Udawalawe a záchranné stanici pro slony je to jen kousek. The property is gorgeous and very natural. There are no eye-sores, everything is very blended with nature. The two swimming pools were really lovely and the restaurant buffet dinners were delicious. The best part was the general manager who went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. He engaged with our kids and made sure they stayed busy with basketball, volleyball, arranged a village walk across the river, and made special arrangements on our safari to celebrate my son's birthday. He was like a traditional hotel general manager who treats everybody like his personal guest. It's a really special place and definitely a great base for visiting both Udawalawe and Yala parks.

Sudagala Jungle Glamping se nachází v destinaci Ratnapura a poskytuje venkovní bazén, zahradu, sdílený lounge, terasu a výhled na bazén. Everything is rteally nice, the rock pools are amazing and the junglke is all around you. The cabins are very new and comfortable. I thought the loud music was a bit irritating, but maybe that was just an exeption!
