If you are coming to Udawalawe for a safari then this is the place to stay. Located very close to the National Park entrance this camp had us feeling like we were one with nature. Our room tent/cabin was ready on arrival. It is not a hotel so you should know going in that this is a camping adventure. Beds were comfy and cam with very good mosquito nets. The bathroom was clean and the water pressure was fine. There is no A/C but you do get a floor fan and the room also has plenty of outlets for charging. You get your own private deck in front of your tent with chairs and a beautiful view of the river. I would suggest allowing them to prepare all of your meals. They were all delicious and came at a fair price considering there is nowhere else to eat within a mile or two. The camp prepares and takes car of everything for you, meals, free river tour, and free night walk after dinner. They also will book your safari for you. Once you arrive, you do nothing. It was absolutely amazing.

Very easy going and friendly. Very passionate about all the animals and nature :) The accommodation was very cool, close to town so great for a little exploration. I can't emphasise enough how friendly and helpful the staff is. The service of the resort was great - the housekeeping brought extra waters on our second day. We also booked the safari and their guide was amazing - kind and knowledgeable, we saw so many animals. Also the breakfast here was delicous - so many options and they can also prepare fresh omlete/eggs by choice. For the safari day they brought breakfast there. They also take a lot of care in maintaining the place clean. There is a guard at the front door so we felt really safe staying there. If you are searching for acommodation near the Udawalave safari - this is the way to go. Also if booking the safari with them is the easiest and their drivers are great.

Offering river views, this fan-cooled tent has a private entrance, seating area and extra large bed with spring mattress. It includes a hot water shower, towel and shoe racks. The room was spacious, with shower and toilet in an open area, you could really enjoy the nature 😀. The pool was clean, and the place wasn't crowded. We could see the staff taking care of the resort on a daily basis. The food was nice. We got on a safari organized by them, which was also fine. W went for half day 3.30 hrs, and it was more than enough to see all the spices. It is very close to the village where you can walk and find nice restaurants and bars, alongside some really cheap shops.

Athgira River Camp se nachází u národního parku Udawalawe s výhledem na řeku Rakwana. K vodní nádrži Udawalawe a záchranné stanici pro slony je to jen kousek. Amazing site in the middle of nature ! Great pool, nice cabana rooms and tasty food. The perfect place to chill after or before a safari (they organize everything for you at a good price). We do recommend !

Sudagala Jungle Glamping se nachází v destinaci Ratnapura a poskytuje venkovní bazén, zahradu, sdílený lounge, terasu a výhled na bazén. Everything is rteally nice, the rock pools are amazing and the junglke is all around you. The cabins are very new and comfortable. I thought the loud music was a bit irritating, but maybe that was just an exeption!
