We enjoyed almost everything associated with the Luxury Beach Bus. Mary greeted us warmly as did Nui, her dog. The bus fixtures and fittings are top quality and the bed led to an excellent nights sleep. There were biscuits and bottled water and other little treats that enhanced our stay. We were warm and comfortable inside the bus during a coolish night. Very quiet as well. It is a shame we were unable to stay longer. Highly recommended to people looking for a different style of accommodation. If we visit Wanganui again, the Luxury Bus is our first choice for accommodation.

The glamping domes are spacious, comfortable and Louise has done a beautiful job decorating them. It feels like home away from home. The adjacent toilet is convenient and the well equipped kitchen and nearby showers provide everything one needs. Plus Louise provided fresh eggs and muesli / yoghurt for a delicious breakfast. We had a lovely stay and will definitely return. This is THE perfect place to stay if riding the Mountains to Sea or Tour Aotearoa as the back entry to the domes through private land and back roads is a superb end to the days ride along the river and allows you to skip riding the normal route along Highway 4.

Perfect for family get aways by the beach, rooms have everything you need. Showers and toilets are clean and there plenty of them so your not waiting around. Beautiful outdoor bbq area and communal kitchen too. Highly recommend, have been a few times. We take our motorbikes up and spend a few hours out on the beach, the kids love it.
