We loved going to the grotto on the property to see the glow worms. We had a person in a wheelchair and getting to the cottage was not difficult despite there being a couple stairs. This was our best accommodation of our entire 2 weeks in NZ! So amazing! The fireplace, roasting marshmallows, having a bath with a view… it was so relaxing. Had a steak dinner on the BBQ the last night, and a storm rolled through! With the fire going and a glass of red wine, it was the perfect experience. Woke up to blue skies. Kids had their own sleeping area separate from ours, also very nice. The hosts have horses which were a wonderful surprise for the kids. Baxter the dog is a beauty too! The stars at night were very impressive. Can’t say enough positive things about our stay.
