It was a real privilege to be able to spend two nights at this fantastic location. Our hut was very comfortable and the nearby shared kitchen and bathroom hut was well equipped. Our host Alana was very welcoming and provided lots of useful information. We spent a lovely day at the station doing the nearby suggested walks and were lucky enough to watch the early morning clouds lift and get a view later on of Mount Cook. The clear skies on our second night afforded us a great view of the Milky Way. By the way, the gravel road up to the station is by no means difficult to negotiate and the end result is most definitely worth it.

This tent has a garden view. Located on the main highway between Queenstown and Te Anau/Milford Sound, Kingston Holiday Park offers motel rooms and historic cottages. Upon checking in I was greeted warmly by a gentleman who also gave me a lot of great information regarding the area. The cabin was a bit close to the road but I had no issues with noise as traffic was minimal at night. The unit is newer and had everything I needed for my stay.

The glamping pod was fabulous with a gorgeous view, the hot tub was divine and the games room was a bonus - had quite a few laughs while playing darts, pool and table tennis.

The views from the dome were fabulous, the private jacuzzi right outside our back door was so very enjoyable. We took the e-bikes for a ride and the views were stunning. Tim and Hugh were more than accommodating and of course, the fresh baked bread and fresh eggs stealthily delivered to our back table were a huge bonus! Another bonus was a huge hailstorm we got to watch. The lavender fields and whole farm were wonderful to stroll around. There were horses and sheep and all kinds of lovely things to see.
