Offering free toiletries and bathrobes, this tent includes a private bathroom with a bath, a bidet and a hairdryer. I totally recommend this accommodation — everything was exceptional. The facilities were amazing; we stayed in a room with a spectacular view for watching the sunrise. The bed was very comfortable, and everything was very clean. The staff was incredibly kind and always willing to help with anything we needed. I’m vegan, and when you let them know in advance, they offer amazing food alternatives — they were very considerate and accommodating. The pool was also fantastic — swimming there in the middle of the desert was an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend it and wouldn’t hesitate to come back.

Not very far from city center and really in the the desert. Facility is really well maintained and many activities could be suggested by the owners. The staff are very warm and kind. The starry sky in the night was really amazing.

Everyone and everything was perfect. It was a hot night and the staff put our beds outside the tents, sleeping under the stars and full moon night was above and beyond our expectations. Camel rides were a little pricey but ya gotta do it. Diner and breakfast were traditional and plentiful. We will be back!

Look no further than Desert Stars for a lovely great value desert trip. It is a comfortable small camp with only 10 tents and really welcoming hosts. Each tent has its own bathroom. There is a nice dining tent with buffet dinner included and a substantial breakfast with eggs and beans stew. We sat around the fire in the evening after dinner and watched the stars. I went on a sunset camel ride which was magical, and had a fantastic half-day safari into the dunes with Ahmed, who is a highly skilled driver and great guide. I saw baby camels, foxes and lizards and ended with a bedu lunch. Communication was smooth with the host by WhatsApp in advance, I arranged a transfer as I had a small car which was also smooth. Highly recommend!

The camp is located deep in the desert in a quiet and remote setting, perfect for disconnecting from the world. The food was excellent, the restroom facilities were far beyond expectations, and the tent was very spacious and comfortable. We watched the sunset from the dunes, enjoyed a delicious dinner, and spent a peaceful evening by the firepit and under the stars. The stargazing platform was an incredible experience. The team was outstanding. Saddam took great care of us, and Ali was extremely welcoming and guided us perfectly, sharing insight into desert life and Omani culture.
