It is amazing location and 1th place in my top-list now. You will get a great experience to meet sunsets, enjoy the day for rest or swimming in the pool. The pool is warm because they heat it. The house look like a flat: with kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and balcony. And you can find everything, not usual things like iron, hairdresser but cover for the table, glasses for wine and so on. The breakfast was luxury, very tasty and well organized. The view from the cliff is speechless. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. Be sure that you won’t leave this glamping.

Guests will have a special experience as this mobile home provides a pool with a view. Cannot recommend House Nobrega highly enough. The accommodation itself was lovely, but it was the extras that put it over the top. Other than the weekend, they cleaned everyday (like a hotel), provided a small snack, gave us wine, and really made us feel welcome. The pool was gorgeous but too cold for us to use. Parking, as has been mentioned, was tricky but doable after a few tries. The location is so quiet and perfect for hikes. Overall such a fantastic, welcoming place to stay.

We had an amazing stay in Calheta Glamping Pods. All is well designed and provides a relaxed atmosphere. We like to spend our time on our private terrace on a hammock with a glass of wine. The territory is calm and beautiful with lots of flowers around and a pool. The bed was very comfortable, the air conditioner worked fine, and the bathroom was good. We had a small kitchen with all the staff you need to cook something. It was great to have a shared washing machine with drying mode - you should just pay 1 euro for the capsule. And we like to have complementary bread with a jam on our breakfasts. It took us around 10 minutes drive to get to the city center and a sendy beach. I definitely recommend this place.

This place is great for those wanting to disconnect. The host was so supportive and attentive and fixed any issues immediately (one day water didn’t work). It’s also a 6-8 hour round trip to pico do Areiro hiking from the shelters, just follow the markers.

Very nice property in a very nice location. Perfect for a romantic stay or even a getaway with one kid as well as for the hiking starting point - right in the middle of everything. You can directly hike from the door to Pico Arieiro! In the middle of the beautiful nature and still it’s only a few minutes to Funchal!

Lovely cabin surrounded by mountain views, we saw so many stars at night. There's a great place to eat and drink (O Barracão), just 10 mins walk from the cabin, and it's only 20 minutes drive from Funchal (we had a rental car, but I believe there's a bus stop nearby too). It felt like a little home away from home, bed was very comfortable, shower was excellent and the little kitchenette had a stove top, microwave, kettle, coffee machine and fridge. Our host was wonderful, very welcoming and gave us lots of recommendations. I would definitely stay here again!
