This tent's special feature is the pool with a view. Guests will find a stovetop, a refrigerator, kitchenware and an oven in the well-fitted kitchenette. The tent also offers a barbecue. We had total privacy, the lodge was large with a garden overlooking the river, with a large covered terrace and outside seating.It was well equipped and had all we needed. The decorations were of high quality and we felt spoilt and relaxed. There was a swimming pool a short walk away. The gardens were mature and full of flowers. A little oasis to relax and feel cool.

The location is stunning, our cottage was beautiful decorated and spacious. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. They even made a birthdaycake for my sons birthday. We wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommended

This Luxury Tent Room has a private entrance with an open plan room with a Double Bed and bathroom with shower. The Luxury Tent Room shares balcony with beautiful views. Marietjie & Mike are great hosts. They can help you to organize for example private Safaris … or have tips for anything you might need. The tents are very nice and we had a fantastic BBQ in the evening. Also felt very safe.

This game reserve stands out for us because of the beautiful landscape of rolling hills and dramatic mountain ranges. Game viewing in this setting is something special. Our ranger and the general staff were so friendly, knowledgeable and caring. The Hillside Manor is luxurious comfort. Definitely one of our best family experiences. We had the most amazing two days here for part of our Honeymoon. The staff were incredible, so friendly and accommodating. Mr. President's game drives meant we saw almost everything we could in 2 days. We 100% recommend and hope to return ourselves!

Located in the heart of the Amakhala Game Reserve, Woodbury Tented Camp offers an authentic outdoor experience in safari tents. The camp overlooks the ancient floodplain of the Bushmans River. Gorgeous tented camp set in a lush area, lovely main building with excellent meals served by friendly, attentive staff, tents set off individually for privacy, each with a sweeping view of the preserve. Our guide, Lenny, was very experienced and we learned much about the many animals we saw - lion, cheetah, elephant, rhino, giraffe, many kinds of antelope, warthog, more! We did 6 3 -hour drives; suggest booking enough time to do at least 4-6.

Best time we had on our 2 weeks roadtrip in South Africa and probably one of the top accommodations we ever stayed in. The rooms are secluded and very well equipped (we LOVED the open shower and indoor bathtub), the staff are amazing and the game drives are out of this world!
