It is the prettiest old house on the busy main street, yet street parking for free nearby is not a problem----at least in this season. The bar and restaurant downstairs is good. The ice cream parlor 20 meters away is also good.

The luxurious 5-star Muckross Park Hotel and Spa is located in Killarney's National Park.

Very relaxing atmosphere even though it was away from the town center of Killarney. Lovely lake and the walk by the lake is awesome.

Pictures on booking.com doesn’t do it justice, the long driveway from the main street sets the tone for this secluded property. While it’s pretty much in the middle of town, when you’re in the property you feel that you’re on your own château. Public facilities and room furnishings makes it feel very special, excellent breakfast, great staff. Have to go back.

This is a really nice hotel and our room was fantastic. A very well laid out and spacious room with amazing views of Killarney National Park. Also throughout the hotel the level of cleanliness was clear to be seen as it was spotless. All of the staff were engaging and very friendly and a credit to the hotel. In particular the young lady working behind the bar went to a different floor to get the drink I ordered; what service! Breakfast was another standout. Usually buffet breakfasts are not up to scratch but this was not the case here. All of the hot food was actually still hot and cooked to perfection We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and we were delighted with the gifts the hotel had arranged for us on our arrival
