The location was fantastic. We could walk out of the property, and the sea and shops were just around the corner. We had a top floor gite , which was self contained, with our own private balcony. It was more than what we expected. We wished we could have stayed longer. The cycling routes around the island are great. We will definitely come back and stay at the same accommodation. Philippe & Myriam were lovely and very helpful in suggesting restaurants things to do etc. The room was very clean and the ceiling fan was amazingly quiet and very welcome. The b&b was in a great location, so close to everything but away from the noise and bustle of Boyardville yet only 10 mins (by car) from St Pierre. We would definitely stay again next time we are in Île d'Oléron
