With an 18-hole championship golf course, a 20-metre pool and a luxurious spa, Slieve Russell Hotel is set within 300 acres of grounds. This is a beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. The rooms were large and beautifully decorated. It had all the amenities you would expect in a high end hotel. The views out our room of the golf course were lovely. The included breakfast was a typical European buffet with all the variety you would expect. The hotel is not really near anything, so you are going there to enjoy that property. And there is much to enjoy. We wished we could have stayed there longer.

In 1,300 acres of country estate, the luxurious Farnham Estate Spa and Golf Resort has a spa with an outdoor infinity pool, forest walkways and an 18-hole golf course. Cavan Town is 3 km away. Room had everything I needed just where I needed it. I loved the layout. It made staying there so easy, I didn't want to leave.

Offering a shared lounge and garden view, Lacken Millhouse and Gardens is located in Cavan, 12 km from Cavan Genealogy Centre and 21 km from Ballyhaise College. The house and the location of it were amazing. So was the service. Helen is a great host.

Featuring garden views, Nellies Cottage B&B features accommodation with patio, around 22 km from Cavan Genealogy Centre. Was the perfect stay for me.. Angela, Eugene and Max the dog very friendly and welcoming.. I was given tea and scone when I arrived, which was great.. Had to come back late after wedding but that was no problem.. Very clean and I slept really well... Huge breakfast next morning, so was all set for the day ahead.. Couldn't recommend enough.. Thank you...

Crover House Hotel & Golf Club is located on the North-East shores of Lough Sheelin Lake between Cavan and Ballyjamesduff. We had a perfect one night stay on Valentines night. The complimentary bubbly & chocs were a lovely touch and as always the staff, the food, the whole experience was 10 out of 10. Can't wait to return☺️❤️

High standard accomodations, well appointed room, lounge, breakfast room. Well pleased.

Boasting river views, Luxury Waterfront Retreat I Private Sauna & Hot Tub offers accommodation with a spa and wellness centre and a patio, around 5.1 km from Drumlane Abbey. Amazing Place. Stayed with family. Very peaceful location by the river with nice walks and views. Lots of games and interesting things for the kids to explore. Treat pack on arrival! Kids rated it 5 (stars), 10 and 17 (out of 10)!! A real gem, one of the best places we have stayed. Thank You!

Situated in Bailieborough in the Cavan County region, The Cottage Bailieborough Cavan has a garden. This property offers access to a patio, darts, free private parking and free WiFi. This cottage was simply perfect. Wonderfully built, spectacularly clean and exceedingly comfy. The owners went above and way beyond to make us feel like home. Cozy living room, comfortable beds, and a nice kitchen. And it has coffee maker, something that not every Irish rental seems to have! There's a little convenience store just up the road, and a larger supermarket about 5 minutes away. If you are looking for a central location in Ireland to drive to all the sights, you'd be hard pressed to find better. I'm keeping this one on my favorites list; I might have to book this one again.

Location is peaceful and unique. The cabin is lovely and makes for a good relaxing break. There is no Internet or signal for phone coverage, Not a bad thing. Just need to be prepared. Beds comfortable and place nice and warm, even though it was freezing outside. The host is friendly and communates well ahead of visit.
