With an 18-hole championship golf course, a 20-metre pool and a luxurious spa, Slieve Russell Hotel is set within 300 acres of grounds. This is a beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. The rooms were large and beautifully decorated. It had all the amenities you would expect in a high end hotel. The views out our room of the golf course were lovely. The included breakfast was a typical European buffet with all the variety you would expect. The hotel is not really near anything, so you are going there to enjoy that property. And there is much to enjoy. We wished we could have stayed there longer.

In 1,300 acres of country estate, the luxurious Farnham Estate Spa and Golf Resort has a spa with an outdoor infinity pool, forest walkways and an 18-hole golf course. Cavan Town is 3 km away. Excellent service and attention to detail. Dillon was fantastic behind the bar a true professional.

Offering a shared lounge and garden view, Lacken Millhouse and Gardens is located in Cavan, 12 km from Cavan Genealogy Centre and 21 km from Ballyhaise College. Beautiful house and grounds, pretty and comfortable room, delicious breakfast. The hostesses were friendly, pleasant and very helpful.

Featuring garden views, Nellies Cottage B&B features accommodation with patio, around 22 km from Cavan Genealogy Centre. We were very happy with Nellie’s cottage 10 minutes from the local town Angela was an excellent host and the breakfast was fantastic

Situated in Virginia, 16 km from Loughcrew Estate and Gardens, St Kyrans Guest House features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. The owners were very kind and accommodating. The hostess upgraded us to a lovely room. It was quiet with a beautiful view of the lake bordering the property.

Crover House Hotel & Golf Club is located on the North-East shores of Lough Sheelin Lake between Cavan and Ballyjamesduff. We loved everything! Beautiful property, amazing staff, food was lovely. Room was great too.

Dungimmon House is set in Ballyconnell, 7.4 km from Drumlane Abbey, 16 km from Ballyhaise College, as well as 20 km from Cavan Genealogy Centre. Breakfast was moderately priced, generous and yummy!

Stayed with family. Very peaceful location by the river with nice walks and views. Lots of games and interesting things for the kids to explore. Treat pack on arrival! Kids rated it 5 (stars), 10 and 17 (out of 10)!! A real gem, one of the best places we have stayed. Thank You!

Situated in Bailieborough in the Cavan County region, The Cottage Bailieborough Cavan has a garden. This property offers access to a patio, darts, free private parking and free WiFi. This cottage was simply perfect. Wonderfully built, spectacularly clean and exceedingly comfy. The owners went above and way beyond to make us feel like home. Cozy living room, comfortable beds, and a nice kitchen. And it has coffee maker, something that not every Irish rental seems to have! There's a little convenience store just up the road, and a larger supermarket about 5 minutes away. If you are looking for a central location in Ireland to drive to all the sights, you'd be hard pressed to find better. I'm keeping this one on my favorites list; I might have to book this one again.

Featuring a spa bath, Bernard’s Logcabins is located in Ballyconnell. This property offers access to a balcony and free private parking. Guests can make use of a garden. Location is peaceful and unique. The cabin is lovely and makes for a good relaxing break. There is no Internet or signal for phone coverage, Not a bad thing. Just need to be prepared. Beds comfortable and place nice and warm, even though it was freezing outside. The host is friendly and communates well ahead of visit.
