Traditional multi-course dinners, hot-spring baths overlooking old forests, and spacious Japanese rooms with nature views await guests at Negiya Ryofukaku. Best hotel experience during our honeymoon in Japan from the girl at the front desk (unfortunately I can’t remember her name but she was super nice) to the dinner. Our “room” was indeed a small apartment with a private thermal bath and a small garden.

Located in Ikuno, 45 km from Toyooka City History Museum, Japan's Oldest Remaining Company Housing -Like a Ghibli Scene provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and express check-in and... I’m not even sure where to begin — our stay in Ikuno was truly unforgettable. Our host, Rehan (a fellow South African living in Ikuno), went above and beyond for us. He offered to fetch us in Kobe walked us around the city, drove us all the way to Ikuno and even organised the most incredible meal for us at the local izakaya. His kindness set the tone for the whole stay. The accommodation itself was breathtaking - a beautifully renovated traditional company house that felt both historic and homely. Spacious, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed. One of my favourite moments was waking up to the sound of rain and looking out at the trees on the mountain. Pure magic. I would recommend this stay in a heartbeat. The accommodation is remarkable, the town is enchanting, and Rehan’s generosity, passion, and knowledge made the experience feel genuinely special. This was my favourite part of my entire trip in Japan and moments I will never forget. Thank you Rehan, cannot wait to visit again!

A recently renovated ryokan set in the Kinosaki Onsen district of Toyooka, Base House Kinosaki お子様無料でサウナもアクティビティも楽しめる城崎温泉一棟貸し宿 One Group a Day Private Villa with free shuttle service, sauna and... The owner Nao is a very welcoming and very friendly person. The property has pictures and explanations for how to use everything in it so it was very easy to do what we wanted. Nao provides a free shuttle service to Kinosaki Onsen, about just a 10 minute ride. He also picked us up and dropped us off at the station once we left. The land around the property is also very beautiful as the beach is right there. Overall, I would definitely book this place again if I went back to Kinosaki Onsen.

Taketoritei Maruyama is a non-smoking Japanese-style accommodation featuring natural hot spring baths for private use and free Wi-Fi throughout the property. Staffs are friendly. The view from our room is fantastic. The onsen is comfortable. They have shuttle bus to take us to the center and pick up us at station. I don't have line or Whatsapp so have to use skype to call them

2.3 km from Kinumaki Shrine in Toyooka, Asagiriso offers accommodation with access to a hot spring bath, spa facilities and public bath. Our short trip to Kinosaki Onsen was perfect and the stay at Asagiriso was a big part of that. The hotel is located just a short walk from the main street but this gives it an advantage of absolutely spectacular views from the rooms. River, flowing fields and storks - perfect view to wake up to. Room was spacious, bright and well equipped. The buffet style breakfast had an unexpected amount of interesting options and everything was very tasty. But the most impressive was the service. We've never experienced such care and enthusiasm from the hotel staff. Even with language barriers they made sure we understand everything, helped us choose yukatas, found extra large sandals for me, provided private transport to the ropeway etc. Extra thanks to the younger, super energetic man who took personal care of us and made sure we have a great time and don't miss our train. Thank you Asagiriso! Best hotel ever!

Beautiful garden view from the cypress bath. Beautiful accommodation and very clean. We loved the hospitality of the host who took us for a guided tour of the local attractions (shrines, temples, and the local yokai spots) We absolutely loved our stay and highly recommend going.

Set in Toyooka, within 13 km of Toyooka City History Museum and 26 km of Ito Kiyonaga Museum, ワンコと泊まるジャスミンクリーク offers accommodation with ski-to-door access and free WiFi as well as free private... We felt so welcomed in this Inn while traveling with our dog. The room was wide with very comfortable beds, kitchen and spacious, clean bathroom. Big surprise was large dog run/ garden and onsen that you can use privately. Our dog enjoyed running in the garden and the view of the garden from the room.

田舎の宿 吉田屋, a property with a garden and a terrace, is situated in Ōgo, 5.4 km from Misaka Shrine, 7.4 km from Shakubuji Temple, as well as 8.3 km from Miki Athletic Stadium. Everything is perfect! the owners were so kind, gentle and nice i could spend a very good time! i will come back there again, for sure
