Located right in front of Madarao Kogen Ski Resort’s ski slope, Alp Bach Madarao features a garden with a terrace, free Wi-Fi at the lobby and cosy rooms with a private bathroom. Super host and really great accommodation . We were picked up from the bus station. The breakfast was amazing and we had a good time at the fireplace. Also our host was giving us great tips, arranged our ski passes and brought us towards the ski rental. Can’t wish for more…!

The Onsen up the hill was very beautiful and indeed a highlight. Staff weee so friendly and the cosiest room. Great to be back in Karuizawa again.

Location amazing, very 1950’s vibe and excellent for relaxing with family with adult children. ski on ski out was great and field excellent for beginners/ intermediate skiers with no queues as at far end of the Shiga fields. Staff professional and friendly. loved our 5 nights.
