It is a very pretty mansion close to the mount Aso. The view is amazing and the interior is cute and beautiful. I especially appreciate the fireplace, it made the whole house very warm and cozy. The warmness is especially important in houses in Japan - in almost half of my stats during the trip it was freezing cold with AC being of little help. The owner was very friendly and helpful. He helped us to get the luggage up the stairs, gave nice travel advice, it was really fun to talk to him. In the morning he helped us with the coffee machine and with the tea for my mother, I was really greatful. And of course the dog! The owner's dog Leo - fluffiest and cutest golden retriever also lives in his own room in the house. The owner took it out to interact with guests upon their request and Leo was such a good boy! Very calm and well-trained, I fully converted to a dog person now.

Located in Minami Aso in the Kumamoto Region, 10 km from Naka-dake, Hotel Yumeshizuku boasts a hot spring bath and sauna. Each room at this hotel is air conditioned and features a flat-screen TV. Everything was perfection - starting from my arrival, public bathhouse experience, the cozy room, delicious dinner and breakfast and very kind staff members. The view of Mt. Aso from the third floor lookout and the footbath area is impeccable. Also, much special thanks to Mr. Isao Tsugayasu, who was extremely helpful and kind to us throughout the stay! He truly made our experience at Yumeshizuku unforgettable. Thank you so much again for your kindness and hospitality. I look forward to my next stay at Yumeshizuku in the nearest future.

金春 -in KONPAL Penthouse- har en hage og en terrasse, og ligger i Kikuyo, 13 kilometer fra Suizenji-parken, 14 kilometer fra Kumamoto slott og 14 kilometer fra Kyu Hosokawa Gyobutei. Very spacious penthouse apartment that has access to rooftop terrace with street and Mt Aso view. We enjoyed going up the rooftop terrace to just chill, read a book, have a drink and enjoy the Kumamoto weather. Deck chairs, chairs and table provided too. Heating, ventilation and lighting is sufficient for comfort in all seasons. The place is tastefully decorated and super well equipped kitchen like a good quality home. The bar counter with bar stools and large dining table are great for hosting a get together. There are board games, big TV, a set of golf clubs and putting mat for use. Many cans of beer were provided in the fridge for our consumption. Bathroom is big and the bathtub fitted 2 persons very comfortably. We had a very enjoyable and comfortable stay. Host was helpful and precise with instructions that made check-in very smooth. Definitely a Value-for-money place which we will return to!

Rental villa Gontaya ligger i Takamori, 48 kilometer fra Suizenji-parken, 50 kilometer fra Kumamoto slott og 25 kilometer fra Aso-fjellet. Dette overnattingsstedet har balkong og gratis WiFi. Love the wooden structure of the property. It is super spacious, and quiet. The host had provided good direction as to how to navigate to the property, making life easier for me travelling there by car (especially in the dark). The kitchen had all the utensils I needed to prepare a good decent dinner for my family. The host also kindly provided some complimentary gifts for our stays. Thank you.

If you have a car, location is excellent with a separate Onsen only steps away, where they offer public and private rooms. It's also convenient to get to the trails of Mt Aso and other local sightseeing. The home itself if wonderful with 2 bedrooms upstairs (1 western, 1 tatami mats), and a full bath on main level with kitchen, dining, living, and many electronics available to use. They are even very generous with some supplies in the refrigerator (which we greatfully used as we forgot to buy Mayo at the store) and access to some shochu (which we conservatively sampled a few of the open bottles). The views are wonderful and we were there in the autumn and you could see the colors of the valley. We would HIGHLY recommend. We did exploring and hiking during the day and returned home to Onsen and then end the day with board games. It was perfect!

I Hitoyoshi, bare 5 minutters gange fra Aoi Aso-helligdommen og 41 kilometer fra Ebino-platået ligger Hitoyoshi Morinohall Ladies in - Female Only. I love here very much! Very recommended for those who come to Hitoyoshi for Natsume Yuujincho, or any other purpose. I stayed here with a fun time. They were very friendly to me, and the space was clean and nice, I had a few days high quality sleep there. Will be sure to come back again next time I visit Hitoyoshi again.

I Minami Aso, 29 kilometer fra Egao Kenko-stadion i Kumamoto, ligger Bettei Soan, som har gratis sykler, gratis privat parkering og en terrasse. Delicious food, cleanliness, Japanese hospitality. The food is very good. Michelin level. From our friends experience who stayed in other places in the area they only had very specific Japanese food (pickles and seaweed etc). This place served more regular to Western people Japanese food. We loved sukiyaki!!! In addition, we want to thank Dikshya, she was so kind and helpful. We speak very little Japanese so sometimes it was necessary to have a fluent English speaker. The onsen was very well equipped and the water was hot spring water. We would happily visit again!!!
