The room is very big may be the biggest room i have in every trip in Japan. The Kotetsu table so comfy. Bath room very chill i bath the hot spring everyday day and night. Environment around hotel is very beautiful and peaceful love to walk around in the morning when sunlight hit the park. And the reception so nice they try so much to connect with foreigner. This makes me feel so comfy. I really enjoy this trip.

We loved everything about our stay! The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The room was very comfortable and spacious enough for our family of 5. The tub on the porch was amazing. Grilling out on our front porch was very fun and the heaters made it nice and warm even in winter. We enjoyed morning yoga, fire pit s'mores and the free drinks and mocktails from the garden kitchen. There is an incredible park within walking distance. So much fun!

Offering a garden and quiet street view, Himawari is situated in Minami Aso, 36 km from Suizenji Park and 39 km from Kumamoto Castle. It is a very pretty mansion close to the mount Aso. The view is amazing and the interior is cute and beautiful. I especially appreciate the fireplace, it made the whole house very warm and cozy. The warmness is especially important in houses in Japan - in almost half of my stats during the trip it was freezing cold with AC being of little help. The owner was very friendly and helpful. He helped us to get the luggage up the stairs, gave nice travel advice, it was really fun to talk to him. In the morning he helped us with the coffee machine and with the tea for my mother, I was really greatful. And of course the dog! The owner's dog Leo - fluffiest and cutest golden retriever also lives in his own room in the house. The owner took it out to interact with guests upon their request and Leo was such a good boy! Very calm and well-trained, I fully converted to a dog person now.

Delicious breakfast and dinner, spacious room, good facilities and very kind staffs. Especially the staffs, we arrived there in windy and cold day. They let us early check in without any surcharge and helped us to make reservation for next day trip. They were so nice and kind. It was very good experience there for my family thanks to the staffs. Highly recomended !!!

Location is good, very near to shopping area. Hotel staff are very helpful, and the food is delicious. Food portion is big and we are all very content after every meal.
