The owner and his girlfriend are awesome. I arrived on new year's day, the buses were all on a different schedule but he patiently waited for my (too early) arrival and let me check in before check-in time so i could explore the onsen in the area (which he tipped me about). When he found out that the early bus would not be early enough the next day for me to catch my train and the taxi company would not take a reservation, he took it upon himself to drive me to the station way too early the next morning. The night itself was fun as well, he explained a lot about food and drinks and had some Shouchu with me and the other guests. He is a super experienced traveller himself as well so he knows what people need in a guesthouse! And I didn't even mention how cool the place looked if you're into anime (or even if you're not). And you can buy cool souvenirs which he makes himself! 10/10, i only feel bad I was not able to stay longer. Arigatou gozaimasu!!

Lovely place about a 10-15 minute walk from the train station. We were there on 2 cold days in March but our room was warm with a heater and electric blankets. Very comfortable beds and an onsen in the room. We had a beautiful view out our window and in nice weather it would be lovely to sit outside but not on this visit. You eat downstairs in a pleasant dining room. The 2 dinners were fabulous and well prepared but we couldn't eat much of the breakfast (it was all Japanese), other guests loved it. But on the second day the cooks made us a delicious breakfast that kept us going all day. The owner is very helpful, he cares a lot about his guests, he's still working on the place and it will be really nice when it's done.

מקום האירוח SEKIYA RESORT Galleria Midobaru נמצא בבפו, במרחק של 25 ק''מ מאויטה בנק דום, ומציע גינה, חניה פרטית בחינם ובר. כל הדירוגים שנתתי הייתי נותן גם 2 מעל. מקום מדהים פשוט אם זה הצוות שעשה מעל ומעבר בשבילנו גם לדברים שלא קשורים למלון, ניקיון החדרים, המעיינות החמים הפרטים בחדר, מחיר פשוט מצחיק לתמורה שאתה מקבל מהם. הדבר היחיד שחשוב לדעת וזה על האזור בכללי עדיף לבוא אם רכב

מקום האירוח Soil בMinami Aso נמצא במרחק של 30 ק''מ בלבד מאצטדיון אגאו קנקו קוממוטו, ומציע גישה לגינה וטרקלין משותף, בנוסף למטבח משותף. יש מסעדה במקום וחניה פרטית בחינם. Super cosy with full facilities. Good size for two pax. We ate in almost every other day. Simple kitchenware was provided. The scenery was simply amazing - so peaceful and quiet. Felt like a homestay experience. Great base to explore the Aso region.

We loved everything about our stay! The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The room was very comfortable and spacious enough for our family of 5. The tub on the porch was amazing. Grilling out on our front porch was very fun and the heaters made it nice and warm even in winter. We enjoyed morning yoga, fire pit s'mores and the free drinks and mocktails from the garden kitchen. There is an incredible park within walking distance. So much fun!

Facility was well decorated and super clean. We got upgraded to a better room, which had view of Mt Aso. Bed was comfortable. Hotel looks better than the photos.

מקום האירוח Akarinoyado Togetsu כולל בר, ונמצא בבפו שבאזור Oita, במרחק של 26 ק''מ מאויטה בנק דום ו-5.9 ק''מ מתחנת הרכבת בפו. - Personnel is extremely attentive and nice to talk to - Food is very fresh and delicious - the room is great with a lot of complementary things offered (bags for wet clothes, socks, face treatment, ice cream in onsen, etc) - very cozy and hot onsen which is open until midnight - location is very convenient - I visited 5 hells of Beppu and museum by foot - spacious parking

מקום האירוח Ikkoten ממוקם ביופו, במרחק של 50 ק''מ מאויטה בנק דום, וכולל גינה, חניה פרטית בחינם וטרקלין משותף. Loved the traditional ryokan vibe and the scenery. Loved the kaiseiki breakfast.

SEKIYA RESORT Terrace Midoubaru is located a 15-minute drive from JR Beppu Station and boasts guestrooms with a semi open-air bath. Guests can soak in the hot spring bath. Beautifully located a bit outside of Beppu. It is far, so remember to book dinner at the hotel in advance. You can reach the Beppu roapway quite easily by local bus though (suica card works btw). The dinner (wagyu meal set) and breakfast were excellent and the chef very accommodating as my friend is a pescetarian and does not eat meat, so he prepared a dinner and breakfast with no meat just for her. The rooms are very nice, spacious and clean with a great view over Beppu and the bay. We slept very well on the tatami style mattress and the open air bathroom with access to the hot springs water was so relaxing and nice. 100% recommend!
