It's convenient, close to public transport and also close to many sightseeing areas. You also get a great view of Beppu from the area around the hostel. The interior of the hostel is fantastic, you could spend hours looking at all the decorations and talking about your favorite shows. Tosi was also an incredible host who went above and beyond to make my stay as special as possible.

I Yufu, 48 kilometer fra Oita stadion, ligger 旅館 竹屋 Takeya, som har en terrasse, gratis privat parkering, en restaurant og en bar. Lovely place about a 10-15 minute walk from the train station. We were there on 2 cold days in March but our room was warm with a heater and electric blankets. Very comfortable beds and an onsen in the room. We had a beautiful view out our window and in nice weather it would be lovely to sit outside but not on this visit. You eat downstairs in a pleasant dining room. The 2 dinners were fabulous and well prepared but we couldn't eat much of the breakfast (it was all Japanese), other guests loved it. But on the second day the cooks made us a delicious breakfast that kept us going all day. The owner is very helpful, he cares a lot about his guests, he's still working on the place and it will be really nice when it's done.

Bare 12 kilometer fra Azenomachi Ehon Museum og 13 kilometer fra Ino Tensho Kotai Jingu Shrine ligger kominka neri（古民家煉り）, som tilbyr overnatting med klimaanlegg og eget bad i Miyawaka. Everything! Charming staff. Beautiful room and gardens. Lovely onsen bath. Exceptional food. Restaurant staff fantastic with helpful English hand drawn menus. Clean, bright and well maintained.

I Beppu, 25 kilometer fra Oita stadion, ligger SEKIYA RESORT Galleria Midobaru, som har en hage, gratis privat parkering, en restaurant og en bar. Amazing architectural design - quirky and modern - well appointed rooms - great onsen - fabulous restaurant - will definitely come back :-)

Soil har overnatting med en hage, en fellesstue og en restaurant, og har utsikt over fjellet. Her bor du bare 30 kilometer unna Egao Kenko-stadion i Kumamoto. Super cosy with full facilities. Good size for two pax. We ate in almost every other day. Simple kitchenware was provided. The scenery was simply amazing - so peaceful and quiet. Felt like a homestay experience. Great base to explore the Aso region.

I Iizuka ligger THE Retreat, som har en restaurant, snackbar, en hage, en døgnåpen resepsjon og terrasse. Boenhetene har utsikt over hagen. We loved everything about our stay! The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The room was very comfortable and spacious enough for our family of 5. The tub on the porch was amazing. Grilling out on our front porch was very fun and the heaters made it nice and warm even in winter. We enjoyed morning yoga, fire pit s'mores and the free drinks and mocktails from the garden kitchen. There is an incredible park within walking distance. So much fun!

Himawari tilbyr overnatting i Minami Aso og har en hage, en fellesstue og en terrasse. Fra boenhetene har du utsikt over fjellet. Både WiFi og privat parkering er tilgjengelig gratis på Himawari. The host was super nice! I felt right at home when I arrived and was greeted by him. Despite my broken Japanese we had a wonderful conversation duriqqng my dinner. The room was lovely and everything was super clean. I would definitely recommend to stay at Himawari!

I Beppu, 26 kilometer fra Oita stadion, ligger Akarinoyado Togetsu, som har en restaurant, gratis privat parkering og en bar. - Personnel is extremely attentive and nice to talk to - Food is very fresh and delicious - the room is great with a lot of complementary things offered (bags for wet clothes, socks, face treatment, ice cream in onsen, etc) - very cozy and hot onsen which is open until midnight - location is very convenient - I visited 5 hells of Beppu and museum by foot - spacious parking

I Yufu, 50 kilometer fra Oita stadion, ligger Ikkoten, som har en hage, gratis privat parkering og en fellesstue. Loved the traditional ryokan vibe and the scenery. Loved the kaiseiki breakfast.

SEKIYA RESORT Terrace Midoubaru is located a 15-minute drive from JR Beppu Station and boasts guestrooms with a semi open-air bath. Guests can soak in the hot spring bath. The property had everything we needed but was still close enough to a convenience store, restaurants and other attractions.
