Located in the northern area of Okayama, Yunogo Onsen HOTEL YUNOMORI BISYUNKAKU features 8 public indoor and outdoor baths, a game room, and a store. 2 hours to JR Okayama Station by car or train. The hotel was beautiful and the room we had seemed newly renovated (Semi Suite Double room) and was very comfortable. The onsen was very clean and spacious, and the yukatas were colourful and lovely. We upgraded our meals to the Nagi beef option and it did not disappoint although a little pricey. The breakfast buffet was good with wide selection. Parking was free and the place was not difficult to find. Check in/out was smooth and the Manager at the dining hall was very helpful and friendly explaining various activities we could do in the area. There is a table tennis table and a small diner in the hotel which was convenient. We will certainly return.

I Fujita, 20 kilometer fra Shoka Museum Ikegamitei, ligger なかつい陣屋, som har en hage, gratis privat parkering og en fellesstue. Sakamoto-san was very nice. I arrived by bus and he offered to drive me to the supermarket and various other places. Every evening I could enjoy a traditional japanese bath. The surrounding area is beautiful.

I Mimasaka, bare 21 kilometer fra Ancient Farmer's Pit-House og 21 kilometer fra Former Residence of Mitsukuri Genpo ligger ホテル作州武蔵. A great little farm stay hostel. Facilities are modest (bunk bed shared accommodation) and well maintained. Owner and host Sakisan is lovely and we had a fun evening with her and other fellow travellers and hearing some traditional music being played. Some caring and thoughtful touches to the facilities. We had a good overnight sleep and rest before continuing our journey, and enjoyed waking up to the lovely Mimasaka country-side. Great value and a memorable experience. Thank you Saki-san!

I Maniwa, bare 22 kilometer fra Shoka Museum Ikegamitei og 23 kilometer fra Bukeyashiki Kyu Oriike Kyu Haibarake ligger 北房まちの駅 ゲストハウス. The owner was so lovely and helpful. pointed out local places to see etc. the place itself is very traditional and you feel like you are really in Japan here. we had the place to ourselves, so it was really quiet,but our room was open to the stairs above the walls to the shared kitchen below, but eveyone goes to bed early anyway.
