It was very warm, quiet, and beautiful in the snow. It was definitely basic but had what was needed for a nice comfortable stay and was clean.

This 5th-generation family-run hotel dates back to 1877 and is located in Hafjell Mountain, 17.5 km from central Lillehammer. It offers a private 9-hole golf course. The staff were very friendly. The lounge area was so cosy with the roaring fire. The New Year's Eve meal was so good. The shower in the rooms was lovely and hot. The beds were comfortable.
